Description
During the last decades, the concept of open innovation (OI) paradigm has proven its value to enhance collaboration between big corporations and SMEs. While big businesses are often engaged in open innovation, various studies show that many SMEs and Startups find OI collaborations challenging.
The EU-funded PITCCH project has the objective to build a pan-European open innovation network to support collaboration between innovative SMEs and Large Enterprises, and the uptake of their advanced technologies-based solutions.
At this webinar, Hartmut Welck, Coordinator of Innovation Management at Steinbeis2i GmbH will introduce the PITCCH project, identify open innovation facilitation factors as well as its challenges and benefits. On top of this, Henning Wiegandt from Siemens Energy Global GmbH & Co. KG will share Siemens' previous experience in OI cooperation and present what has motivated them to become a part of the PITCCH Network.
