agROBOfood is an EU funded four-years project aiming to build a pan-European network of Digital Innovation Hubs (DIHs) that stimulates the effective adoption of robotic technologies in the agri-food sector, which in turn will become more efficient and competitive. The heart of the project is formed by Innovation Experiments that are supported and monitored by DIHs (including Competence Centers) through technological, business and ecosystem services. In 7 Regional Clusters (North East Europe, North West Europe, France & Italy, Iberia, Central Eastern Europe, Central North Europe, East Mediterranean Europe) Innovation Experiments demonstrate robotics innovations in agri-food in a manner that ensures replicability and wide adoption across Europe.
