EU Industry Days: window open to express interest for organising a stakeholder session or an event

No image description.

The fourth edition of the EU Industry Days will take place from 22 to 26 February 2021. This annual event is EU’s main platform to discuss industrial challenges and co-develop opportunities and policy responses in a dialogue with a wide range of partners. The event promotes that policies on EU, national and local level work together with the European Industry to deliver jobs, growth and innovation in Europe. It is an opportunity for stakeholders and citizens from all over Europe to establish a strong dialogue on the future of European industry.

The 2021 edition of the EU Industry Days will focus on the green and digital transition and the changing global competitive landscape in the post-Covid context. It will provide input for the update of the EU industrial strategy announced by EU President Von der Leyen.

The window is now opened until 15 November 2020 to express interest to organise a stakeholder session or an event. The focus of both should be on the implementation of the new industrial strategy in the post-COVID economic and social reality, with a specific focus on the challenges and needs of European industrial ecosystems related to:

  • shaping Europe's digital future
  • making Europe’s industry climate-neutral by 2050
  • EU competitiveness in the changing global competitive landscape

Stakeholder sessions

Industrial stakeholders from all sectors and ecosystems of industry are invited to submit their proposals to organise a stakeholder session during the EU Industry Days.

Stakeholder sessions provide the opportunity to gather with key players and discuss topics relevant to the industry. They also enable engagement with a diverse audience representing various industrial ecosystems. The high interest in EU Industry Days and the associated communication activities will give the organiser visibility and impact.

EU Industry Week events

In addition to this, submissions of expressions of interest are now being accepted for the organisation of local virtual events as part of EU Industry Days. Organising an event is an opportunity to bring visibility to an event and contribute to EU Industry Days dialogue.

These events will be promoted on the EU Industry Days website and should take place between January and March 2021.
