Description
The MARBLE, STONE AND MATERIALS TECHNOLOGICAL CENTRE provides the services necessary for technological development and innovative companies in the sector of non-energy mining. The opening of the Technology Centre was held on June 10, 1996. To fulfil its purpose, the Centre’s functions are:
Training, informing and advising.

CTM participates in numerous regional, national or European networks as we enlist as follows:

- OSNet (Ornamental and Dimensional Stone Network).
- NESMI (www.nesmi.net, Network of European Sustainable Mining and Processing Industries).
- CECOTEC: Network of Technology Centres in the Region of Murcia.
- RedIRIS: program -IRIS- for interconnection of computing resources of universities and research centres.
- CTM is a member of the Association of Assistant Industry Natural Stone. On the other hand, it has close links with the National Cluster of Natural Stone, FdP (Spanish Federation of Natural Stone), MARSA (Business Association of Marble and Natural Stone in the Region of Murcia) y EUROROC (European & International Federation of Natural Stone Industries).
- CTM is part of CONIUN Technology Corporation, formed by CTNC (National Technology Center for Tinned Food) and CETEM (Technology Center Furniture and Wood in the Region of Murcia).
